2nd March 2025 - New Book in development!

I was so lucky to spend three days writing at the beautiful Gladstones library this week, alongside some incredibly talented fantasy writers. It allowed me to get my head down and start penning a story that’s been percolating for a while! If you like YA Dark Fantasy this one will be for you… stay tuned for more updates! 16th December 2024 - City of Sunlight & Shadows Success!

Fantastic news! An amazing agent has requested to see the FULL manuscript of City of Sunlight and Shadows. Initially, only the first three chapters are submitted, and only if an agent feels the project is right for them will they request the full. This is an incredible response, as of the tens of thousands of manuscripts submitted to agents each year only 6% receive Full Requests. This particular agent has been sent 256 manuscripts and has only requested 4!

Many times, a full request does not lead to anything further and this can be for lots of different reasons. But I shall be taking this as a sign of great things to come!

1st September 2024 - City of Sunlight & Shadows is with the agents!

City of Sunlight and Shadows has now been sent off to agents! This is a part of the traditional publishing process. If an agent likes the project and our goals align, they will work with me to further polish the manuscript before submmitting it to publishers for consideration. This process can take MONTHS! So we’re in for the long haul here!

15th August 2024 - City of Sunlight & Shadows is complete!

The final draft of my Adult Fantasy Romance, City of Sunlight and Shadows is complete! I wrote the first draft of this epic love story in three months… a record-breaking time, but I just fell in love with this story and couldn’t step away from the laptop! I’ve since spent another six months listening to feedback from beta readers and critique partners, and working with an incredible editor to perfect it! And now, draft three is ready to see the light of day!
